This is a fast, effective, low cost method to keep the soil surface open and minimize compaction without disrupting use of the turf area. As surface compaction is a continuous problem, caused by both use (foot traffic) and maintenance (mowing), venting aeration should be scheduled as often as possible to be effective. AerWay’s complete line of Turf Aerators feature 5 different tine rotors to handle your exact requirements. The polyethylene built-in ballast tanks, when filled with water, obtain maximum tine penetration. The AerWay AWGH Series Aerators are hydraulic tag-along turf aerators designed for use with tractors or utility vehicles.
They effectively relieve soil compaction and improve water infiltration without disrupting play.
These aerators include an integrated hydraulic wheel system for easy transport and can be fitted with a range of tine types
for different turf conditions. Optional electric/hydraulic power packs are available for vehicles without remote hydraulics.
Tine Options:
– Shattertine®: Deep soil fracturing up to 7 inches for fairways and sports fields.
– Sportstine®: 6-inch venting tine for fast, mid-season aeration.
– Finetine®: Up to 6-inch penetration for greens and fine turf with minimal disruption.
– Super Finetine®: Thatch management tine available with 3”–6” spacing, compatible with smoothing roller.
– Coring Tine®: ¾” x 4” tine used for dethatching and topdressing preparation.
